The parking problem nobody talks about
A large share of Irvine's Tesla owners live in apartments, condos, and attached-garage communities — Woodbridge, Northwood, Quail Hill, Cypress Village, Portola Springs, the newer Great Park neighborhoods. If you rent, your car probably lives in an assigned carport stall or a subterranean garage space. That rules out doing this yourself, because you have nowhere to put a jack and nowhere to set four wheels down.
It's also why "just take it to a shop" is annoying here. You drive somewhere, you wait, you drive back, and you've burned two hours for a job that takes thirty minutes. We work in the stall your car is already parked in.
Enough room to open one door fully and get a jack under the car. An end stall, or a space with an empty neighbor, is ideal. We bring our own everything and use no power from your building. If your community makes visitors register at a gate or kiosk, tell us when you book so we're not stuck outside.
What about HOA rules?
Irvine is dense with village associations, and most of them restrict ongoing vehicle repair in driveways and common areas. In practice a 30-minute maintenance visit is rarely a problem, and we've never been asked to leave an Irvine property. We're licensed by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (ARB #313558) and carry insurance, and if your association wants a certificate of insurance before we come out, ask and we'll have our insurer send one.

When you should skip us and call Tesla
We do a short list of maintenance jobs and we do them properly. We don't do warranty work, drive unit or battery repair, suspension diagnosis, or anything involving high-voltage systems. If your car is throwing errors or something feels structurally wrong, the right answer is Tesla's service center, and we'll tell you so rather than sell you a rotation you don't need. The nearest service centers to Irvine are in Costa Mesa and Lake Forest, both a short drive away.
