Costa Mesa is the one city in our service area where Tesla has a service center of its own. So rather than pretend we're always the right answer, here's the honest version: there are jobs you should take to them, and jobs where driving across town to sit in a waiting room makes no sense at all.
Take it to Tesla when it's actually Tesla's job
Warranty repairs, recalls, software problems, drive unit or battery faults, suspension diagnosis, anything high voltage, anything that throws an error on your screen. We don't do that work, and a shop that offers to is a shop to be suspicious of. Tesla's Costa Mesa service center handles all of it and you live minutes from it.
Call us when it's thirty minutes of maintenance
A tire rotation takes about half an hour of actual work. Getting one at a service center means booking a slot that may be weeks out, driving there, waiting or arranging a ride home, and driving back. That's most of a morning for thirty minutes of work.

Tesla prices are approximate and change over time. The meaningful difference isn't the dollar amount on the rotation — it's that our cabin filter service includes an evaporator treatment and theirs doesn't.
If you're paying for a cabin filter because your A/C smells musty, a filter swap alone usually won't fix it. The smell comes from mold on the evaporator core sitting behind the filter. Where we work in Costa Mesa
Eastside and Mesa Verde homes generally have driveways, which makes this easy. The apartment and condo density near South Coast Plaza and along Harbor is a different situation — we work in assigned spaces and parking structures there all the time. We need enough room to open a door and get a jack under the car, and a gate code if your building uses one.

Quick Mobile Service is a small Irvine-based operation, licensed by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (ARB #313558) and fully insured. We focus on Teslas and other EVs and we keep our service list short on purpose. When a job isn't ours, we say so.
